How do I choose between a rotary vane and a liquid ring pump?
Short version: rotary vane pumps reach deeper vacuum and are the workhorse of the industry; liquid ring pumps handle wet, dirty gas streams and water vapour better. For dry chambers, dry scroll or screw. Send us your process (gas, pressure range, flow) and we will recommend a model.
How often should I change the oil in my rotary vane pump?
Depends on duty. For continuous clean service, roughly every 3,000 hours or per the manual. The reliable signals: oil darker than a fresh sample, or haze at the exhaust — both appear before anything audible. If the pump handles moisture or solvents, change oil more often.
What parts fail first on a vacuum pump, and how do I spot them early?
On an oil-sealed rotary vane pump, three parts fail first: the inlet filter (watch ultimate vacuum drift), the carbon vanes (watch pump-down time), and the oil / exhaust filter loop (watch oil colour and exhaust haze). All three fail gradually — that is why a small part can become a big overhaul if ignored.
Are your spare parts compatible with the original brands?
Yes. We supply compatible filters, carbon vanes, seals, pump oil and repair kits for the major pump brands (Becker, Busch, Leybold, Edwards, Pfeiffer and others). Give us the model or part number and we will match it against our BOM.
Do you offer OEM / ODM and custom manufacturing?
Yes. We produce pumps with your branding, build custom vacuum units to your specification, and manufacture parts to drawings. Tell us the application and volume and we will confirm feasibility.
What are your payment terms?
We accept TT bank transfer, PayPal, WeChat Pay and Alipay. Our standard terms are T/T 30% deposit, 70% balance before shipment; trade terms EXW Xiamen, China. Exact terms are confirmed in the quotation.
How do you ship, and how long does delivery take?
We ship worldwide by international express and by sea freight. Standard lead time is within 30 days after payment (depending on model and stock, confirmed in the quotation). Tell us your destination and we will give a realistic timeframe.
Is there a warranty?
New equipment carries a standard warranty. Specific coverage and period are stated in the order terms so there is no ambiguity.
Can you repair or rebuild our old pump?
Yes. We service pumps in our own workshop — tear-down, diagnosis, replacement of worn parts and testing. Send photos or a description and we will assess it.
Do you provide technical documents and BOM support?
Yes. We provide specification sheets, and for repeat customers we keep a parts BOM record so the next order takes minutes, not days.
